The team at Variety Silk House are passionate about designing the perfect outfit for our customers. Founded in Nairobi, Kenya in 1958, the company was built from up from the ground, providing customers with an excellent selection of sarees and textiles.

In 1972, the family travelled to London to Wembley, Ealing Road, where a small saree shop opened to become one of the first in the area. Since then the business has expanded and have established a significant and loyal consumer base, some of whom have remained and shopped with us since our early days in Nairobi. We are now considered to be established as one of the oldest, largest and most trusted and visited Indian clothing retailers in London, all the while remaining in the same family.

Variety Silk House welcomes its buyers to come and see it’s sarees from all regions of India, like Benarasi sarees, authentic handloom pure silk Kanjivaram sarees, Bandhani Gharchola, bridal panetars, Maisuri georgette sarees, Paithani Silk sarees and Tanjore handloom sarees.  When it comes to sarees, Variety Silk House definitely know our warp from the weft. They even stock french chiffon sarees and original chantilly lace sarees from France.
